Oh this is swirly and psych drenched to a degree that we get woozy early and got into that kind of head swaying motion that rarely arrives without alcohol. In Furrows (Peter Wagner) hands this music thing appears effortless as the melodies spring from him without resistance and it helps turn the rest of us into devotees as a result. Heard some Dandy Warhols here, a little less agitated as if Washed Out had come in with the comfy slippers and inspiration. Wasteland is a rub to the temple, the kind you return to time and again for aural sustenance. KH
