Such a finger picking chord laced number and it had us of a Simon & Garfunkel mindset as a result, Bright Eyes for a new generation perhaps with all the hushed folkery to have us concentrating on the more important things for a change. Nova Soon has something that’s for sure because there is also a forage beyond the quiet ambience, not settling for the obvious and clinging to retro harmonies while bringing new things to the party. For a finish I felt Nick Drake stirring here from this bard called Noah de Grunwald, a near imperceptible melancholy twinned with a quiet joy. KH
