Fair bit of confusion at the start but that just got us startled so we could be fully tuned into the chiming chords on their way from this London quartet. Yep this is jangle pop and it is lo-fi and recorded live but it is our blog’s stock in trade for it just exudes everything we love about music and the DIY aesthetic. But clearly Electric Blue know how to write a great song into the bargain too and in that singer they have the perfect lead to get the pulses racing because she effects an effortless cool. ‘Shades of Blue’ is the eponymous track from a debut EP that recalls better times.
