If your want at the moment is to slide into an addictive form of slow turning melody (I mean who wouldn’t want to with all that nasty contagion going on all around?) then turn the volume skywards. ‘Emotional R&B’ got me I must admit because there was no forcing itself upon us, instead we swayed silently to (Detroit’s) Ian Ruhala’s presence as he gifted us natural harmony and the odd orchestral flourish. Makes for a sweet few minutes, languid but always absorbing (the healthy kind) fare. KH
