I must admit to experiencing various, but non-fatal, heart palpitations at the start of this tune. This was down to the flourishes and misty-eyed sloganeering in the vocals that made for a tune that combines a certain sixties sensibility with a contemporary knowingness. Self confident, a near swagger but most of all a perfect invocation of how to take the listener on a magical mystery tour. You’ll hardly believe how much glorious ground is covered by these four lads in under three-and-a-half minutes. KH
