‘Buzzcut’ evokes a mood from the getgo, atmospheric and heartfelt and though ye olde hugger will never claim rap as our go-to genre Dublin’s Sal Dulu has crafted something here that got to us. The combination of swirling orchestral synths, guest vocalist staHHr’s (Memphis) wonderful scattershot wordsmithery and a dreampop epicentre make for a heady brew. Two stars for the price of one then and the result is an impossibly beautiful listen. KH
