Well that whistle got me tuned-in in double quick time, unusual in its verasity and perhaps at odds with the gentle harmonious fare that follows in its wake. The narrative is a little out there but given the gorgeous piece of songwriting ‘Wanna Be A Woman’ deserves endless repeats to make sense of it. This mostly mysterious German act is headed up by one Heiner Hendrix, who dabbles in a number of other bands but appears to have found his true calling with Angela Aux. KH
