The shuffle is one thing but having a singer like Will Strickson who is as nonchalent as can be just gives us something akin to slacker with a jazz sensibility. Like we’re drunk in the august sun, with the kinda girl we like. It all sounds so effortless but then there are brass asides, riffs on every corner and a narrator for whom the next couch becomes his home. Is this what love does to you? KH
