‘Hangover’ sure does get into your bloodstream after the first couple of sips, bursting into life but retaining its country blues demeanour. Given the narrative there is a real sense of misadventures, but crucially learning from them. And though Mr Golden slips into unconsciousness by the finish you know this guy from Pittsburgh is just one of us, a foolish hero of men who takes a little while to realise what is truly important in this short stint we all have. An inebriated epiphany. KH
