I thought the Stone Roses ‘I Am The Resurrection’ was my outer range and yet here we have an opus that extends for a whole 7 minutes longer. It comes from Toronto’s musical couple of Brianna Bordihn and Eric Reid. So clear your diary and settle down to a quarter-of-an-hour of fun and frolics, an EP in one song with all the variety that a multi-track release might bring. The playing is whimsical but well-rounded and it’snot an exaggeration to say that the time flew especially as Freedom Baby find so much nuance in their layered vocal pitch changes. So if you are on the market from an Arcade Fire meets the Polyphonic Spree opus ‘I Want To Give’ will be akin to absolute bliss. KH
