Oh my those beat patterns do recall the distant 80’s, an urgency that rides the highway to the danger zone (!) Thankfully ‘Roam The Pavements’ doesn’t continue in that vein, in fact it blossoms into an indie anthem with a fluid chorus. It also finds us to a singer who is made for torch songs, summer festival headlining and a thousand t-shirt sporting fans. On this evidence Germany’s Levanter go beyond Two Door Cinema Club and into something with a little more longevity. KH
