Wispy under an oak tree styling, regaling in a simple childlike wonder. ‘Boy in a Record Shop’ is as easy on the ear as acoustic folk gets and I must admit to falling under its gentle spell from the getgo. There is a build but it is subtle and comes across like a gentle arm around the shoulder type. Psychedelic edges add the requisite icing for the perfect escape for the frantic season ahead. This track is taken from Salim Nourallah’s 6th album ‘Somewhere South of Sane’, which will come out in early summer 2018. KH
