Piano laced pop hasn’t been given a fair run out of late but there is more than a shard of hope here. A seasonal sounding number, Belle & Sebastian tinged and lovely weaving vocals (Rick and Genevieve Dawson) to hang from the twinkling Christmas tree. It’s simple but most of the best things are, effortlessly gentle on our heads and stirring something inside that has been dormant for the longest time. KH
