The Weepies – All That I Want

Last year we posted a new Christmas song every day in December and also made a page where some of indie’s finest discussed their favourite Christmas songs. This year as you know we actually released a festive record but we’ll also make every effort to ensure the run up to the 25th is as jolly as possible. Here is a lovely start from Topanga duo the Weepies who have done very well for themselves of late by signing to a major label. And it’s easy to see why when perfectly crafted songs like ‘All That I Want’ slip out of them with consummate ease. There is a touch of Aimee Mann about Deb Talan’s vocals which makes every word that she utters so warm but very cool at the same time. KD
