Don’t let this little beauty pass you by, for even though you may at first believe it to be run of the mill it will, with care and attention, become something to warm those chilly summer evenings. As with most Scandinavians (Danish on this occasion) the Elephants sing as if they come from a land where English is the first language. Of course the giveaway is the fact that we all know that bands who come from lands where English is the first language are unable to produce indie as pristine as this. This time it’s a boy called Bjarke and a girl called Martine who help lift proceedings but it’s difficult to sign off without remarking on the jangling tussle (with harmonica intersperses it must be said) which has that requisite thrown together guise. The debut album from the Elephants is 2 years old now so it’s somewhat reassuring to read that work on the newbie is progressing well. KD

It’s cool you’re writing about The Elephants. I’m from Denmark myself, and I’d nearly forgotten about them. But they are surely a great band, and nice people too.
If you like Danish music, or is just interested in the Scandinavian scene, then check out my musicblog http://www.regnsky.dk. Well, it’s in Danish so it might be pretty hard to understand, but you can get an imperfect translation from Google. Or just listen to the music (:
Thanks Eva, I’m off to your blog straight away!
Aye great sound! Just as a techie note- you can also translate Eva’s blog in Firefox with the Hyperwords add-on. Not perfect but pretty close!
Great stuff Tim, never knew about that add-on. It does the job just great, thanks.
