‘I Am Blind’ is taken from the Polaris Prize nominated album ‘The Seven Seas’ from Montrealers Elephant Stone. And enough of all that bickering about the ‘You Can’t Hurry Love’ start this is something that annoying baldy could only dream of writing. Lead singer Rishi Dhir used to be in the High Dials (whom we briefly frolicked with 3 years past) so he has form (6 albums worth in fact). ‘I Am Blind’ is so well endowed with honeyed melody it’s a wonder there’s not already a swarm domesticating in your speakers. Jingle jangle without any of the auld triangle it certainly looks like Dhir has found a bright new angle. KD
