While it may not be appear as fully a formed piece when stood beside their best work (circa Melody A.M. – my lord 10 years old this year) ‘The Drug’ is still a stellar example of pulsing ear candy. Reminds me a little of Mylo’s ‘Muscle Cars’, although I doubt that islander had the budget to put a video together quite like what Röyksopp used to showcase this tune. ‘The Drug’ is taken from the duo’s 4th LP ‘Senior’ which came out last year and like all of its predecessors managed to rule the charts back home in Norway. Maturing like a fine Bergendy. KD
