While it lacks the necessary killer chorus to raise it into the pantheon of greats ‘Diamonds’ has an exuberant dash and one that should appeal to those sold on a sweetly tuned chord ensemble. Not your typical Brooklyn band either and Your Youth might really be better plying their trade down the sunniest dives in California (or Waikiki given the name of the last release) sending the bleached ones to a higher state of consciousness (a diamond in the rough you could say). Quite a pleasant way to spend 2 and half minutes. KD
