Alex Crossland – Niceguy

As earnest as you’ll find in 2025 but then that was always the folk way and given the degree of banjo Alex Crossland was always going to pull in that crowd as well as the singer-songwriter masses. But Niceguy shouldn’t be about what genre the track falls into because why waste time while Alex pulls the strings on an increasingly confident build. Yep things do bloom from that early intimate circumstance to something we can all sing along to and not need recourse to a campfire to get into the right kind of mood. Just so likeable, anthem for the underdog who is starting to come out on top. KH
