Speak Softly – Why

This one arrives fully formed and driving forward with a flotilla of guitars, drums and a singer who reminded me of Rick Witter out of Shed Seven. So we are really talking about an indie rock anthem and as a result Sacramento’s Speak Softly hark back to another time. – mid 90’s ultimately. ‘Why’ is right up my street, cocksure attitude and a string of tempo shifts to insure the Friday night student disco has a new act to champion.
