Metal Bubble Trio – Love, Please Don’t Be Long

Oh I do feel like we are at the other end of the year such are the tropical qualities of Metal Bubble Trio’s (Andrew Dost and friends) deployment of those chords. Elsewhere they go the pure pop route and it feels like something out of the Beach Boys, even if things are taken down a notch or two in the Surfin’ USA stakes. Of course ‘Love, Please Don’t Be Long’ has been curated to a degree that it feels it is on a mission to infiltrate our heart. I don’t think I’ve heard something this romantically indie pop inclined all year and that means we were like putty in Metal Bubble Trio’s hands. KH
