Ciao Malz – Gold Rush

I have to find myself a lilo and a swimming pool for that matter, warmer weather would be desirable and my list of wants is all down to Ciao Malz’s ‘Gold Rush’. That is because the track ushered such a feeling of summer into our day it had an unstoppable feeling of glee about it. The Brooklyn based act do it in a dreamy off-kilter manner, reminding of Karin Peris of the Innocence Mission vocally and in a woozy manner for the rest of this chipper and bright arrangement. Yes there will be Men I Trust fans climbing aboard for sure for ‘Gold Rush’ is a 24-carrot indie pop nugget. KH
