Adam James – Rock N Rolla

I was thinking we had landed in central Shins territory at first but LA’s Adam James appears to have the wherewithal to tear up that script and give us something much more in-your-face to contend with. Thankfully a swing back around to that sweet aura of a sixties sensibility takes the edge off the whirlwind that is the consistent change of tempo. A carousel of sound here, plenty of winning ideas and though there is a degree of energy required to keep up with them all come the end ‘Rock N Rolla’ adds up to a whole lot of repeatable fun. KH
