Danke Shane – No Small Parts

We do hold Danke Shane (Andrew Burke) dear so after quite a number of years it was great to have something new to digest and his rush of new material will properly materialise in an EP called ‘No Small Parts’ in mid-December. The title track is a taster and proves to be a soft and melodic sort to illustrate what we have been missing. A shuffle pushes things along in a manner that is suggestive of flight and even if we don’t reciprocate in our personal waltz there is plenty to lap up from a couch berth. Handclaps, close harmonies and a second vocal crowns what is short but sweet piece of indie pop and a fine return to the indie pop fold. KH
