A bright start but then this is Belgian’s foremost indie popsters CMON CMON and they pretty much guarantee it, as well as a bright middle and end and ‘All The Other Kids’ is no different as it throws us meaty reminders of what Teenage Fanclub used to do at will back in the 1990’s. So we’re in peak indie rock/pop territory with winsome vocals and heroic riffs aplenty and the kind that is mandatory for days that just don’t seem to turn a corner. ‘All The Other Kids’ is innocence on record and that is all that is required sometimes to press the reset button.
