They sure do have a way with a post-punk sound, throwing shapes that are off-kilter to a fault and amid all the molten riffage a singer (Melanie Giselle) holds court with unconventional melodic intent ‘Spit’ is full of character, very much itself and raging against the machine that never loses sight of the need to have some decorum in the art of song deployment. Upstarts with oodles of talent it seems and I for one am on board for telling the world of NYC’s Ligeia majesty arrival. KH
