Oh the romance, or the end thereof, is clear on ‘Before Summer Ends’, that east coast sound the preferred route to our hearts and it means that we were pining for our personal summer well before the finish. Adam James sure does know how to craft a track that is poptastic, sixties laced and full of little moments where the listener is privy to a few minutes of purest innocence. Sucrose movements at every turn so ‘Before Summer Ends’ feels like the perfect pick-me-up. KH
