It was loud and clear to me at least, that Talee had gone full 80’s electro pop anthem and made like Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. And that goes for the pulsating rhythms, the bass bumble and the of course the Andy McCluskey like dreamy vocals. Wouldn’t matter a jot of course if the track wasn’t up to scratch and thankfully in that regard this Dutch act has produced one catchy work, harmonies abound and there are enough turns to keep things interesting without turning people away. Sounds like a good way to start the weekend to me, a happy tune with a groove that bubbles under until we can’t deny it any further and instead break into awkward movement. KH
