Crikey that is headed straight for the heart of melody (like Jonsi does), in a way that makes it feel as if Sedivy are able to articulate the human condition a whole lot better than the rest of us. There is 80’s near Gary Numan electronic interface in there too, to add another strand to what is a melodic fusion of falsetto and arms in the air aesthetic so ‘The Way It Goes’ feels fully formed anthemically. This Las Vegas act could have the sequel ‘Sweet Disposition’ from the Temper Trap on his hands in fact, magic aural strands to dress up our day. KH
