CR&M – Something is Lost But a Lesson is Learned

It has designs on giving us brain fog. That elaborate swirl of electronics generated in such a way as to be both experimental but also tunesome once you can travel to the heart of proceedings. Wasn’t in the least bit surprised that it evolved over 6 minutes plus because these things need that sort of room to manoeuvre. So we’re looking at Four Tet, Animal Collective, the Field, My Bloody Valentine and of course Washed Out in a tune that packs quite an emotional punch for those into dreamy non-linear electronica. A trio from England that remind us of the glorious times of yore – essential to take a peek of their new LP ‘Stems’. KH
