High Pitched Scream – Morning Light

It was to the Breeders that my head twisted to, but you could also call in memories of Sonic Youth (and the Pumpkins) so it is clear that High Pitched Scream have set themselves on a 90’s turn of noise. ‘Morning Light’ is a stampede and a riot created from the expanses of David Lloyd’s Sydney bedroom studio. Can’t praise this kind of DIY endeavour enough, High Pitched Scream and their brethren are to be encouraged wholeheartedly if we are to save indie music. KH
