Sour Blood – The Devil

Always with the theatre, Sour Blood’s approach moving beyond the obvious and so songs such ‘The Devil’ have us dreaming when the morning gave us no indication that such an eventuality was on the horizon. On this occasion the Irish act pour forth in a swell of electronic devilment (!), dreamy vocal textures but the real action happens at the chorus when we are immersed in a swell of psychedelic overtures. Reminded me of Animal Collective and Candy Claws with an indeterminable hint of exotica. KH
