So much so that famed Pixies producer Gil Norton agreed to work on their self-titled sophomore album. ‘Nth Degree’ was one of its more exuberant tracks, a bombastic epic full of charging chords and dexterous bass lines. And like a fine wine Chantel Claret gives her vocals a full body workout as she serenades the boys from their pumped up gasoline machines. The effect is akin to the energy and excitement of a Friday night bottled up into 4 minutes of sheer adrenaline. KD
