Of course it is inventive chord play that drew me in to this Arto Vaun piece, only then did I realise that there was a whole lot more going on besides and it adds up to an inventive few minutes. One that appears to be constantly on the forage for making a better version of themselves so ‘Build My Own Fever’ becomes a lesson in the advantages of never standing still. There is a sparkle in this Boston act’s eyes and it extends to tunery that is just made for summer’s where giddy adventure is around every corner. Ash, Witness and the Lemonheads all spring to mind.
