Nada Surf – In Front of Me Now

Have been quite the fan of Nada Surf the whole way back to ‘Popular’ (1996, gasp!), there was just something to their vitality that they never managed to lose sight of. So delighted I was to hear that the 2024 incarnation of the band works in the same vein, namely bursting out all over with intention – a full-blown chorus from Matthew Caws and chords charging through the core like its the mid-90’s all over again. An album (‘Moon Mirror’) is due later this year but what I’ve got in right in front of me now is enough, more than enough to blast us into hyperspace. KH
