Death on TV – Antidote

Lively as, reminding of Joy Division – before the vocals and a drift of Ian Dury hoved into ear view and suddenly ‘Antidote’ took on a different shade of alt 80’s new wave. There is a driving work here from Death on TV and while it might not go along expected 2024 lines that is partly the charm – the vulnerability amid the strut also offers a cool cache, so much going on that it is clear that there will be rewards beyond the first listen. Synths are pulsing, as is our inner pulse. KH
