Like a slowed down math-rock composition and so the guitars take center-stage, at least until the cute as sixties pie vocal emerge and give us an anthem we can all get behind. ‘Freak Me Out’ comes courtesy of an act who have been around the block for some time but that doesn’t stop them from speeding out of the blocks here. ‘Freak Me Out’ has such a beautiful aura, it’s almost like we are in it together but Vicky Von Vicky prove that they rock out with the best of them and when the tempo shifts it enters the realm of greatness and greatness is rare in 2024.
