Green Park – Coast

The clue was in the title of course and so ‘Coast’ has been turned out to wash all over us like a Candy Claws standard from yesteryear. New Delhi’s Green Park do operate in a world full of pop flourishes too, a sixties sensibility of the kind that invites summer into our life in a way that we’d expect of the Beach Boys. Such a heady comparison but there is a grandeur to ‘Coast’, intricate but always warm arrangements so the waltz that will ensue will fit the strict code demanded of the glitterati but also the sideline hoggers like myself. A good song is a good song and this is most definitely a great one! KH
