It is the vitality of Copenhagen’s Kindsight that is the thing that sets them apart so clearly from their peers. ‘Acid Island 45’ displays that most pleasing of traits because it feels like we’re in the front row and center as they bash their instruments and give us an anthem we can sing along too. It’s a short, sharp shock but one that clicks within seconds as Nina Hyldgaard Rasmussen turns out subtle melodies amid the grandest of rock dins happening all around. They’ve done it again, we’re like putty in their hands. KH
