Sonic Blume – Rocky & I

And the calm descends and we’re happy it did because Sonic Blume have something lovely to spin for us. Not least a tune that is sprinkled with shards of riffs, vocal quips and a general saloon bar looseness so that ‘Rocky & I’ never really settles and instead takes us on journey to above and beyond. Careful attention does reveal really fine tunery and a chorus that has an anthemic punch the air in delight aesthetic. Not at all obvious but completely loveable, ‘Rocky & I’ is taken from Sonic Blume’s new LP ‘All Your Favorite Songs’. KH
