Yes there was a weakening of the knees and on this occasion I can’t put it down to wear and tear but more as a result of what songstress Hannah Mohan has produced on ‘Time is a Walnut’. As in a cracking piece of indie pop that constantly conspired to become a better version of itself, so not only a winning chorus, a brass filled arrangement but moments where whistling feels like the only thing not considered to complete the effect. Endlessly breezy happiness on record that might have come from the sixties such is its attendance to the purity of folk pop. KH
