Tired Cossack – Dollywood

We know we are going to get something real when it comes to Winnipeg’s Tired Cossack, unvarnished to a degree but wholesome in their approach all the same and on ‘Dollywood’ there is a proper rollercoaster to jump aboard and scream like we’re kids all over again. The twin tracked approach means we can ponder before all hell breaks loose, much like life itself we just don’t know what is around the corner. I love the sense of madness, a reminder of the Sultans of Ping FC because this is punk with the aggro tempered. That and the fact that ‘Dollywood’ is properly bonkers has finally got me around this this band’s quirky way of thinking. KH
