Jason Wade – A Likely Story

There’s a slow swell to Jason Wade’s piece of folk undertow but with the first full working week out of the way for 2024 we needed something soothing such as this to get us back on an even keel. And no better song than ‘A Likely Story’ to do so because it is a steady presence, getting us settled into its gentle pace before lavishing us with some lovely melodic sequences that are made to iron out furrowed brows. I felt its restorative effects that is for sure and it is one that I wish to repeat time and again. Taken from Jason’s upcoming LP of the same name. KH
