Club 8 – Sunny – mp3hugger

They are back, that most Swedish pop of band’s and Club 8 are sounding pretty fine. Yep, always had a soft spot for their perfect Scandi alt pop moves (‘Whatever you Want’ is still my fave) and ‘Sunny’ just bolsters that feeling as the boys and girls sing in harmony over a punishing beat. It is the sound of fresh thinking, a little the Radio Dept. for sure, and the kind you’d take on days where the intention is to start anew. It’s over in less than 2 minutes but what a ride it proves to be, good to have Karolina Komstedt and Johan Angergård back in the saddle. KH
