Doviak – Wait For The World

Reminded me of ‘The Hardest Walk’ by the Jesus & Mary Chain and while that mightn’t be a complete match there is definitely something to ‘Wait For The World’ that would not have been out of place on the soundtrack to ‘Some Kind of Wonderful’. So we’re talking peak 80’s and the atmosphere just plumes and it plumes so that come that special moment at 90 seconds it felt we were slipping under Doviak’s spell. Things continued on an upward trajectory, moments where little instrumental sequences and vocal ingenuity kept us in a state of joy. KH
