Waash – I Want To Be Good

I really do think the Andrew Bishop led Waash are aptly named for it does feel that their electronic dream movements are like taking a bath in something that can cleanse us of burden. At least to a degree and ‘I Want To Be Good’ is a fine case in point because it brings us an 80’s tinged anthem that balances a neat jangling setup with a euphoric chorus that will have plenty punching the air overhead in delight. It certainly had me in a form of middle age rapture and that is rare. Hints of ‘Sweet Disposition’ by the Temper Trap abound so how could be anything but full-on embrace. KH
