Doom Gong – Memory Maze

They sure do know how to take us free of our urban modernism and back to a time when things were a little more sepia-tinged, organ fused and flush with the kind of melody that is all too rare these days. In other words ‘Memory Maze’ has the wherewithal to lift us free of convention and to a world where imaginations are free to roam as they please. Too much of this and it could be overload but right now this sounds like it is filling a gap where dreams and possibility used to reside. This Louisville troupe blazing a trail on ‘Memory Maze’. KH
