There are ways of opening tracks in your own fashion and ‘Generation of Patience’ sure is an example of how Bogan Via are never anything other than themselves. But while we wait for the wonder to reveal itself there is a heartening series of effects to occupy us and in the process allow us to dream of never shying away from revealing the real us. That is this song’s greatest achievement but coming a close second is the way it gives us opportunity to sing as if everything is right with the world. Offbeat stuff but the kind we need to remind us of the sheer imagination of this beguiling duo. KH
