Milk St. – Free Acid

What I do like about Milk St. is there refusal to get in line with convention and so instead they throw everything into the mix like the Pixies used to and somehow wrestle a victory from the ensuing jamboree of indie-rock sound. ‘Free Acid’ is as you’d expect great fun as a result, a perfect soundtrack your favourite weekend ingestion and the ensuing glorious mess that ensues. Slovenly rock might not yet be a genre but on this evidence Maine 3-piece Milk St. could be leading the charge for its role in giving us opportunities to get wasted to. Where is my mind, who cares! KH
