Yndling – Make Me Want You

The vastness of the sound is impressive in itself but that Yndling (Silje Espevik and friends) can combine it with a lead performace which is the very antithesis of that cavernous output and, even better, make it work means that we have arrived at this Norweigan’s act best work to date. To get a finer appreciation I switched to headphones and the experience was even more impressive as the detail and immersiveness became obvious. The fuel to power jet engines on trips across the pacific ‘Make Me Want You’ shows the aching power of romance and it proved ever so addictive. KH
